Family-centered care in your own home
HOMEMAKING: Home management duties by a trained homemaker, such as meal planning and preparation; kitchen clean-up; loading/emptying dishwasher; sweeping, mopping and vacuuming; cleaning bathroom; member’s laundry; and making member’s bed.
PERSONAL CARE: Assistance with eating, dressing, bathing, personal hygiene and other daily activities. Services may include assistance with other tasks essential to the health and welfare of the member. Also includes shopping assistance to purchase food, clothing or other items needed for the member’s personal needs.
COMPANIONSHIP: Visiting a member who is socially and/or geographically isolated, for the purpose of relieving loneliness and assisting with reading, writing letters or playing games.
RESPITE: Services can be provided in the home or in a safe environment suitable for the member’s needs. May include personal care, homemaking or companionship activities, and may be provided by a Home Health Aide.
VIP ASSISTANT: Making appointments; helping with mail; organizing; assisting with travel plans; holiday decorating; scheduling handyman, lawn care and other outside services.
